Buying from customers
Buy items from customers, right inside Shopify
Shopify handles selling. Intake adds a counter screen for buying used items from the people who walk in, so what you buy is in your inventory before they leave.
Any item, priced your way
Hand-price anything, or let the rates you set suggest the payout for gold, silver, and coins. Attach sold listings to show where a price came from.
The seller on file
Attach or create the Shopify customer. Scan the back of a driver's licence to fill in ID details when your area requires them.
Pay how they want
Split the payout across cash, check, money transfer, and Shopify store credit, or put an item from your shelf toward it.
Straight into inventory
Completing the buy creates the Shopify product with photos, SKU, cost, and a suggested price. It can be rung up at your register right away.
How it works
Four steps at the counter
Every buy follows the same path, whoever is working the counter.
01
Add the item
Hand-price it, start from a template, or weigh it if it is metal. Add photos from the counter or a phone.
02
Attach the seller
Search your Shopify customers or create one. Scan their licence if you take ID.
03
Pay out
Cash, check, money transfer, store credit, or a mix. A staff PIN completes the buy and prints or emails the receipt.
04
It is in Shopify
The item is a Shopify product with its cost, SKU, and photos, linked back to the buy it came from.
